Bastien is passionate about the 40s and 50s and is really inspired by Marylin Monroe, Joan Crawford and all the glamour of Hollywood which can be seen in these fashion and beauty icons.

Returning from my world tour on the lookout for the best places to shop, having explored many cities and walked miles every day, there is only one thing that I want to do: to relax and pamper myself… I have chosen to continue my Japanese experience, having loved Tokyo, by letting all my stress disappear with soft movements of expert hands, all done to Japanese music which helps prolong the trip in my head.

What originality these artists must have to transform some old rags in to pieces of contemporary art! Here, vintage clothing is redesigned, recycled and created into some really unique pieces! What really attracted me to the concept is that, as the designer, Maroussia, told me, the clothes which are created really have their own story to tell; the clothes each have their own unique potential and can take years from the moment of conception, to the prototype, until it is ready to be sold.*
